Last weekend in Veere. Watching boats, a picnic in the rain and
choosing sweets in Oma's candy shop.

We are going to a wedding in Vilnius, on Saturday. 

During three days, we are staying in an appartement on the tenth floor. 

I love this place! A stunning view, minimalistic furniture 

and a beautiful color palet.

On our way from Warsaw to Vilnius we had a short pick-nick in Wigierski 

Park Narodowy. 

What a beautiful place, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Once I come back with JJ and our two boys, to sail wth a canoe

on the lakes, listen to the crane birds and discover the woods of 

Poland.

new adventures

We arrived in Schokkerhaven for a midweek holiday. 

Jonas was so exited about the boat and the location that he didn't 

get tired until it was really late. In the end, he fel asleep at ten 

thirty!

I have to admit that I'm a bit stressed about the water and Jonas, 

who doesn't see any danger at all. 

Tomorrow he is wearing a life jacket when walking on and around 

the boat!

Yesterday evening I felt like I was in Canada. We went to Paira Daiza, 

were we visited different imaginary worlds.

The Farther Bruin crew is renovating the boat in Zeebrugge. While they
were working, my mum, Jonas, Flynn and I took a walk in Lissewege.
From time to time we had to take shelter from the rain.

For the first time with Jonas to the zoo. He was so overenthusiastic
about all the animals. Lovely to see.

Friday, the last day before the holidays, we went to the zoo with our
students.
It's a trip we do every year (pics from last year) and I always enjoy
the enthusiasm of the children.

veere

We're in Veere for three days. It's a lovely town and we're staying in a 

beautiful house. 

I feel so lucky to be here. 

Since Jonas is walking, he doesn't want to do anything else. 

Sometimes it's difficult, because he always changes direction and he 

never goes the way you want to go. But it's actually funny and cute. 

He also learned to say "no", "nee" in Dutch. He uses it if there's something 

he doesn't like or if he's a little scared, often also waving his little finger in 

the air at the same time. 

We were at the seaside today and Jonas put his finger in the air and 

said "njen, njen, njen" to the big waves crashing on the beach.
