jane and jubilee

Jonas chose to borrow this beautiful book from the library. I love it as 

much as he does. "Me... Jane" is about the young Jan Goodall, het plush 

chimpanzee Jubilee, and her childhood journey to make her dream of 

helping animals come true.

1. We wrote letters to thank people and to wish them a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.

2. Jonas decorated the wrapping paper with stamps and drawings.

3. A few days ago JJ woke me up and told me to look out the window.
This rainbow is what I saw.

farther bruin

I designed a logo for the Farther Bruin sailing team. Yesterday they 

wore their new team outfit (with the new logo's) for the first time and 

guess what... they won the sailing race!

That can't be a coincidence ;)

I actually didn't plan to put up a Christmas tree this year. But seeing this 

little one in the shop, I couldn't resist.

Today we made Christmas cards in class. With "action painting"

Christmas trees.

slaapwel

Jonas' new favorite book; The Big Book of Slumber. After he put his
pyjamas on, I tell him how the animals sleep. I love the illustrations
of this book! Jonas never complains when I put him to bed.
My last words "slaapwel, tot morgen", are exactly the same my mum
used to say after she turned out the light of my bedroom.

Today the ALFA class made a birthday calendar. It wasn't easy; most of 
the students didn't even know the date of their birth and half of them 
never used scissors before. 
Still, the results were lovely and we had a nice time!

A little birthday treat for the children of Jonas' daycare, cows on our
daily walk, Japanese textile for Katy's birthday, Jonas with his white
tiger and Martha in our garden blowing bubbles.
