veere

We're in Veere for three days. It's a lovely town and we're staying in a
beautiful house.
I feel so lucky to be here.
Since Jonas is walking, he doesn't want to do anything else.
Sometimes it's difficult, because he always changes direction and he
never goes the way you want to go. But it's actually funny and cute.
He also learned to say "no", "nee" in Dutch. He uses it if there's something
he doesn't like or if he's a little scared, often also waving his little finger in
the air at the same time.
We were at the seaside today and Jonas put his finger in the air and
said "njen, njen, njen" to the big waves crashing on the beach.

from last days

Christmas is already over. I hope you all had a good time!
I'm finally feeling better. I can even eat a donut :)

zaterdag 17 december 2016

Already two days ill in the sofa. Jonas don't understand why his mum
can't play with him. Luckely I have a lot of help.
I will be so happy when this is over!

little x-mas tree

I actually didn't plan to put up a Christmas tree this year. But seeing this
little one in the shop, I couldn't resist.
Today we made Christmas cards in class. With "action painting"
Christmas trees.

tas-ka

When we were in The Hague, we visited Tas-Ka. It's a beautiful shop.
If you're still looking for nice Christmas gifts, you don't have to drive
all the way to Holland, they have a webshop!

last weekend

Last weekend Sinterklaas came to our house. He brought tiny wooden
toys, tableware and candies.
Jonas cousins were visiting. They played in the meadow and helped
JJ with clean Jade, Pipa and Kate's stable.

Pictures from yesterday morning, at the Pier in Scheveningen.
Sad news has reached me today. The dead of Joris Ghekiere,
a great artist and teacher. R.I.P.
