little cow

 

Last weekend I went to a flea market in a town nearby. I bought
two hats, gloves, a rocking horse, two cups, a vase and little
animals for Jonas. Today we met the real version of the little small
cow. So cute!

at 2200m altitude

Joanna went hiking for two months in the Pyrénées, a walk of 1000 km. 

Often when I'm in traffic or at work I think of her, somewhere on a 

desolate place high in the mountains. This morning I received this 

pictures from her. This is where she is now!

She made a sweet landscape artwork for Jonas, her godchild.

I can't wait to see her, listen to her stories and see more pictures of 

her trip.

from today

We went to the centre of Grimbergen, where we visited the basilica.

Afterwards we ate ice cream and we walked through Prinsenbos.

It felt like a real summer holiday, nevertheless autumn is already 

began.

last days

A little birthday treat for the children of Jonas' daycare, cows on our
daily walk, Japanese textile for Katy's birthday, Jonas with his white
tiger and Martha in our garden blowing bubbles.

I asked my students to draw a selfportret and one of them
started to draw himself surrounded by the NASA, Superman,
a fisherman on the moon, a banana beating a hotdog, pirates,
spirits and a flying sheep.

My sweet sweet boy who has filled my life with joy this one year.

On your first birthday you ate your first pancake (you loved it).

You received your first letter (all the way from France, written by

your godmother Joanna). You played with apples from the garden.

You were visited by your grandparents and also Ine and Martha 

passed by.

My little boy turns one in two days. Time flies!

From today at Elise's place; our try-out color palet, the wall in the
dining room and our self made tempera in oyster shells (found on
the beach of Normandy).

dreaming of a house

Katrien came over for two days. We went to look at house that's up 

for sale. 

Can you imagine that K & T buying a house in our village? Katy and 

I would be neighbors! That would be so cool!

First week of school is finished and I feel that it's gonna be a
