Making an ice castle with my friends was one of the top activity's 

on my birthday. I always loved to wear my grandma's high-heeled 

shoes, even during outdoor events.

Yesterday evening it started raining and it didn't stop until now. 

All the meadows become lakes and the lanes become rivers. 

Now I'm really looking forward to make a walk with my rain boots, 

tomorrow.

I love the feeling and the sound of wading through water.

sad news

Our three girls, Jade, Pipa and Kate are pregnant. We already know 

since Christmas. What had to be good news, turned out in bad news. 

This morning a lamb died just after birth. 

When JJ looked in the stable before going to work, Kate was in labour.

But the lamb was stuck and it was so difficult to pull him out. 

When it finally came out, he was hardly breathing. We cleaned him and

we tried to keep him warm, but we lost him. 

So sad.

This week I went back to work and Jonas went for the first time to the 

daycare. It wasn't easy to leave him behind.  

But I believe it's good for both of us. He can learn to be without his 

mum for a while, be together with other children and I can be something 

else than a "full time mummy".

On the other hand I'm very grateful that I only have to work half time,

so we still can spend a lot of time together.
