UCHISHOKU 内食

Sometimes I really miss Japan. The only thing that helps on such a
moment is to buy something from there or to do something Japanese.
Wednesday was such a day. I went to the bookstore, hoping to find a
Japanese book and by wonder I immediately found one!
Tokyo Cult Recipes is a great cookbook, not only for the recipes but
also for the stories and pictures (see below).
Today I tried some dishes (pics above) and brought a little Japan into
my home.

Spring is in the air. The animals graze in the pastures, we have dinner 

outside again and blossoms are everywhere.

Today JJ and I went to the National botanic garden, to see the 

Magnolias bloom.

They are so pure, white and beautiful.

When I cleaned up our bedroom later this day, there was a pigeon 

watching me through the window.

Now matter how great traveling is, coming home feels always good!

Yesterday was our last day in Extremadura. We walked along the most
beautiful paths and roads.

Yesterday we walked trough the capital of Extremadura; Cacéres.

Afterwards, on our way back, we stopped by a lake to watch

evening fall.

Yesterday we climbed to the top of a mountain in Monfrague, 

a National Park of Extremadura.

It was a tough walk and vultures were circling above us, 

waiting for us to give up. 

After fourteen kilometers we arrived in a small town, Serradilla.

Monday we visited Trujillo. A small city with a stork's nest on every 

roof. 

The storks have promised to bring JJ and me a little baby boy 

mid-September!
